CRISTINE CURRIE

MS, MPH, Senior Consultant

Cristine Currie, MS, MPH has over 25 years of experience in Population Health leadership, encompassing Community Health, Employee Health and Wellness, Value Based Care and clinical operations. In South Carolina, Cristine began her career in healthcare in Cardiac Rehabilitation, promoting cardiac wellbeing in the community and leading a healthcare system's Wellness Program. She was an Exercise Physiologist in one of the initial, nationwide, Dr. Dean Ornish Health Disease Reversal studies. Cristine moved to Arizona to teach Health Promotion and Nutrition courses at Northern Arizona University. While she loved teaching, she had an opportunity to move back into a healthcare setting and worked for 25 years in a wide variety of leadership roles giving her a robust understanding of collaborative teamwork to solve complex problems. She completed a fellowship in hospital leadership with the American Hospital Association. In her off time Cristine works with her husband to train competitive bird dogs, and enjoys hiking, backpacking and traveling.
